College: Undecided major at Denison University

Best LFA social event: Freshman year prom, it was on a boat overlooking Chicago and it was really pretty.

Best Stu food/dessert: The good tacos – the ones with the corn tortillas.

Favorite class at LFA: Journalism.

What I will miss most about LFA: The tight-knit community. There is a sense of togetherness and everyone is friendly.

College: Majoring in Business at Indiana University

Best LFA social event: I liked RA weekend. There is so much to do because of the food trucks and the blow-up games.

What I will miss the most about journalism: The community. Journalism is the class with people that I’m closest to.

What I look forward to in college: I am most excited to be in a new environment and watch all of the sports games.

Dream person to interview: Lebron James – what is it like to be the best basketball player of all time?

Favorite Spectator Moment:  Going outside during the first snowfall of the year and taking photos for the December issue.

Best Stu food/dessert:  Chicken tenders and fries, with the chocolate chips cookies from freshman year.

Dream person to interview: Alex Dougherty from the Dougherty Dozen — what is your favorite food to be restocked in your mini fridge?

What I will miss most about LFA: How tight and close everyone is and the community connection.

Best LFA tradition: The picnic before preseason is always my favorite just hang out with my friends on the quad.

Favorite class at LFA: Biochemistry research because we get to experiment and sort of create our own curriculum based on what we are interested in.

College: Majoring in Journalism at George Washington University

Favorite Spectator memory this year: December brainstorming. Everyone had a lot of holiday ideas, and it was a fun issue to make because it was very lighthearted.

What I look forward to in college: I am excited to be in D.C. because there are many internship opportunities, and I can get involved in the political climate there.

Dream person to interview:  AOC (Alexandria Ocasio- Cortez). She has accomplished so much. It would be cool to talk to her and hear her perspectives.

Favorite class at LFA: English 10 with Dr. Hall or AP Lit with Mr. Freeman.

Favorite Journalism memory this year: When Eleveld made us take pictures of the first snowfall around LFA.

Best LFA social event: RA weekend – when they bring food trucks to campus after exams.

What I am going to miss most about journalism: Mr. Eleveld genuinely laughing; Liv crashing out and how chaotic it can get.

What I miss most about LFA: Releasing issues and being proud to show what we’ve been working on monthly.

What I look forward to in college: Excited for the city – The Big Apple.

Best Stu food/dessert: Stu has two types of tacos – ground beef is meh, but pork is good.

Dream person to interview: Luca Guadagnino – Your characters often exist in liminal or dreamlike states. Do you feel drawn to ambiguity in life as well as in art?

Favorite class at LFA: Journalism. I had the best, funniest and most memorable moments from this class.

Favorite journalism moment this year: Doing Crumbl Cookie reviews and getting to rate them.

Best social event at LFA: It’s not a specific event, but when the weather gets warmer and everyone’s outside playing spikeball and hanging out.

What I will miss most about LFA: I’m gonna miss my friends. LFA has become basically my family so its going to be different without that: my dorm community, athletic teams, just everybody.

Dream person to interview: Michelle Obama – How are you so great?

Favorite LFA class: My favorite class is definitely my global class.

What I am going to miss the most about journalism:

I love having the ability to explore our interests and passions by writing articles and contributing to the paper.

Favorite journalism moment: When we visited Northwestern because I thought it was a super insightful experience to hear about the current journalism field.

What I am most excited about college: I’m excited to meet new people and dive into a new community.

Best Stu food/dessert: Orange chicken and the best dessert is a carnival cookie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

What I will miss most about LFA: The students and teachers that I’ve met here and the community I’ve surrounded myself with.

College: Undecided at the University of California, Davis

Favorite Spectator moment this year: Publishing the centerfold with my creative designs and getting feedback.

Best LFA social event: The All-School Handshake. I think it’s a cute moment to say hi to everyone to start off the year.

What I will miss most about Journalism: Interviewing people for my article, hearing interesting perspectives, and “takes” on each issue.

What I will miss most about LFA: Tuesday morning break – going to the snack bar to pick up sushi. The little in-between moments: the feeling that everyone was just down the hall.

What I look forward to in college: The new constant sunny weather in California, meeting new people and biking around the big campus.

Best Stu food/dessert: Cocoa Puffs and chocolate chip cookies.

Dream person to interview: Shakespeare – Do you know what you’ve done to generations of high schoolers? What’s the deal with all the weird fake deaths?

Favorite class at LFA: Journalism, of course – but also AP Lit. Both taught me that words are powerful.

Favorite Spectator memory this year: Northwestern Journalism Conference – learned more about journalism, ate good food, and the weather was nice.

Best LFA social event: RA weekend – done with school, done with AP exams and I can just have fun with my friends.

What I miss most about Journalism: Interviewing people because I can meet new people, and it’s fun to connect with others.

What I miss most about LFA: Atlass Hall – made most of my friends there and was so fun to connect with other boarders.

What I look forward to in college: Meeting new people, the weather and the food.

Best Stu food/dessert: Ramen Day and the kimchi bar.

Dream person to interview: Lee Ji-eun (IU) – How are you able to manage acting and singing simultaneously?

Favorite class at LFA: AP Econ with Mr. Hillebrand – feels most relevant to real-world situations.
