Tame Impala, the psychedelic solo project of Kevin Parker, is back on the road presenting the new album: “Deadbeat.” Released in October, the album shows a turn towards electronic dance music that has been receiving mixed reviews from fans and critics alike. However, there is one thing most everyone agrees on: it is incredible when performed live.
The tour kicked off in Brooklyn, NY on October 27 and will stop in only eight cities with 12 shows, an extension of the original eight-show plan. The last performance in the United States is scheduled for November 17, though Tame Impala will return to the stage in April of 2026 to tour across Europe.
After an opening act by the band Fcukers, Parker takes to the stage to perform songs off “Deadbeat” as well as many of his most popular songs, including “The Less I Know the Better,” “Let It Happen,” “Borderline” and the newest hit, “Dracula.” The setlist includes 24 tracks separated into main stage performances and a DJ set on the B-stage, finally ending with an encore of three songs.
Tame Impala concerts are known for their spectacle, and this tour is no exception. With lasers, confetti and moving screens, the stunning lightshow and visuals enhance the music to create an immersive experience for the audience. Fans will be able to see and feel the music all around them, not just hear it. Parker’s smooth falsetto is also a highlight as he puts on an impressive vocal performance.
Tame Impala will be at the United Center tonight, making now the perfect time to buy last-minute tickets for a reduced price. It is sure to be an experience unlike any other.
