Two weeks ago, the auditions for the Upper School fall play, “Art,” were held in the Kraft theater. The story follows a group of snobby art friends, one of whom, Serge, has spent all of his money to purchase a terrible painting. The play follows the friends as they struggle to comprehend how Serge could have wasted his money on such a painting. This unexpected purchase puts their friendship to the test as they grapple with the ramifications of his decision
P.J. Nolan ‘27, Alex White ‘25, Will Achtmeyer ‘26, Stephen Agular ‘25, Thomas Folan ‘25 and JP del Castillo ‘25. will be starring with Mr. Conway directing and Jai Somani serving as assistant director. Additionally, Henry Ramanathan will be doing tech. This incredible cast of stars will be able to effectively convey the emotions of each character member and their relationship throughout the play.
Mr. Conway believes that the play will be an “incredibly funny and engaging experience that will be enjoyed by all members of the BH community.” Brandon Li, ‘26, says he’s “looking forward to seeing all the efforts of the cast and crew come to fruition in the performance.” The play is currently in production and will debut on November 1st.
